Vice-Rectorate for Planning, Development and Foresight

the Vice-rectorate of development, forecasting and orientation,is assigned to:

• Provide necessary elements to elaborate the draft of university development plans,
• Carry out any prospective study on the development of the number of students and suggest any measures to take care of them,
• Maintain the university statistics file and ensure periodic updates,
• Elaborate any information medium about the degree courses provided by the university and the relevant professional opportunities,
• Provide students with any information that should assist them to make their educational choices,
• Promote information actions for students,
• Control construction programs and ensure the application of equipment procurement programs as regards the services concerned.

It is composed of the following services:

• Statistics and Forecasting Service

This department is in charge of updating the university center’s statistical data sheet and piloting prospective studies to remedy student growth. It also proposes procedures for the care of students and their pedagogical and administrative support.

• Guidance and Information Service

This department is responsible for preparing informational material on the educational courses guaranteed by the University Center and their professional outlets.

• Construction Programs and Procurement Control Service

This department is responsible for monitoring the university center’s construction and equipment programs, in collaboration with the relevant departments.
