The library’s mission includes :

• In conjunction with faculty and institute libraries, propose programs for the acquisition of books and university documentation.
• Maintain a file of post-graduate theses and dissertations
• organize the central library’s holdings using the most modern methods of processing and classification
• Assisting the heads of faculty and institute libraries in managing the structures under their authority
• Maintaining the central library’s holdings and constantly updating its inventory
• Establishing appropriate conditions for the use of the holdings by students and teachers
• Assisting teachers and students in their bibliographical research

LIBRARY SERVICES
The library comprises 04 services

• ACQUISITION SERVICE :
  It handles the purchasing and acquisition process for all kinds of documents such as books, periodicals, official journals and all content related to documentary production that meets user needs.
• Processing service :
  Ce service se charge de l’indexation, de la classification et du catalogage de tous types de documents, et de préparer des bases de données liées au solde documentaire de la bibliothèque, en ayant recours au système standardisé pour la gestion des bibliothèques ayant le lien Syngeb Réseau.
• BIBLIOGRAPHIC RESEARCH SERVICE :
  This service assists and trains readers in information search methods, using the library’s automatic and documentary indexes, and registering them in the national online documentation system.
• ORIENTATION SERVICE :
  this is the library’s public service, in which the processes of registering affiliates with their different levels are carried out, as well as the lending process with its two types, updating all kinds of summaries, training users, and inquiring about the classification and organization of library spaces from document stores, reading rooms and Internet rooms, as well as the possibility of access to the library’s different services.buy
