how ?
To access training in Algeria, foreign students and trainees are required to :
provide proof of qualifications and diplomas entitling them, under national regulations, to follow the course for which they are applying;
comply with the university enrolment conditions applicable to Algerian candidates enrolled in the same course of study;
undergo a compulsory medical examination on arrival in Algeria, as well as periodic health checks. To this end, the training institutes may call on health structures, on the basis of agreements, to take charge of this operation. In exceptional circumstances, the Commission may, at the request of the country of origin, grant exemptions from the entry requirements for candidates with Algerian government grants, within the limits compatible with the operation of the establishments…
What's included in the registration file?
- the registration file must include
- a copy or duly legalized translation of the diploma or degree required for access to the training course under consideration, as well as its equivalence, issued by the minister responsible for higher education
- a transcript of grades for candidates applying for post-graduate traininga birth certificate or other document in lieu thereof
- a certificate of nationality
- a certified copy of the applicant’s passport
- two academic recommendations issued by two teachers in the same specialty for post-graduate candidates
- a medical certificate attesting to the absence of infectious and/or contagious diseases and that the candidate is fit to follow the training to be provided
- four recent passport photos
- The Commission de la Formation des Etudiants et Etrangers may request any information or documents from the applicant or the authority to which he/she reports, in order to complete its information
Observation
Graduation and post-graduation students from ministerial training departments, in addition to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, who do not master the language of instruction, benefit from a year of intensive language training at the language training institutes run by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The year of language training is included in the overall duration of the training course and entitles students to the same benefits. A nominative list of foreign students requiring such training is sent to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research each year.
Is there a scholarship available?
Le montant mensuel de la bourse est fixé comme suit :
- Formation du niveau de troisième palier de l’enseignement fondamental…….. 600 DA ;
- Formation du niveau de l’enseignement post-fondamental …… 700 DA ;
- Formation du niveau de la graduation…… 1 350 DA ;
- Formation du niveau de la post-graduation/ nouveau régime LMD ….1 650 DA.
